Appearing From The Inside

Alien Skull Paint was founded as a solo project by Holger Rixen in Bremen in 1998. Using simple but effective minimal synth sounds paired with guitars and monotonous vocals he creates catchy dancable, 80's inspired songs. With the 1999 club-hit "Fly With Me" the project gained big popularity and the song was featured on the first album in 2001, released by genetic music. 2 more albums and a 12" followed, all well received and sold out, before Holger went on something like a hiatus... even though you never know what he's been up to behind closed doors... all of a sudden he comes round the corner with loads of new tracks...
