WE. is Daniel Wunder (synthesizers, sequencing, programming, voice) and Martin Pscherer (voice, vintage synths, rhythm boxes, electr. voices/noises). Daniel and Martin met in the local undergound club Melodrome in Augsburg and started to exchange tapes with some of their first musical steps. They realised they are on the same wavelength in what they would like to do so and so it was obvious they wanted to try and work together. Both had a bit of equipment and Daniel’s living room ﾄChaos Room served as recording studio. Special sounds and effects have been created at Martin’s home. The result was very DIY and minimal sounding, as though we’re travelling back 1980 somewhere to an industrial estate in Sheffield or as though we’re listening to a young John Foxx. Very minimal, a bit weird, but always very melodic and catchy tunes. When we got the first few we.-songs on a Cassette tape, we could not stop listening to the material, playing it forever in our car stereos until the band told us that this cassette is the only existing copy of these songs… up to today we. is one of our favourite releases/discoveries on genetic music.

Martin and Daniel play live as We. and they also have another electro project called File Not Found.
